The Cool Pool is an independent company owned by Golar LNG Ltd.
The objective of The Cool Pool is to serve the transportation requirements of a rapidly growing LNG shipping market by providing customers with reliable, more flexible, and innovative solutions to meet their increasingly complex shipping requirements.
Each vessel in the Pool is a modern, efficient Tri Fuel Diesel Electric (TFDE) LNG Carrier in the 160-170,000cbm range, providing consistently high levels of service and performance to customers.
The Cool Pool charters the vessels for both short and longer periods as agents for the Owners, who each remain responsible for the technical and commercial operation of their vessels and performance of the contracts. The Cool Pool also provides optimization structures for its customers, as well as chartering-in vessels and other value-added chartering schemes.
The Cool Pool is centred in London but also has representatives based in Monaco and Oslo.
